In the series of articles labeled "R&D," we invite you to delve deeper into the research projects we are developing at Altametris. In this article, discover the research project centered around the Altametris Suite platform for data visualization and processing.
As a result of a multi-year R&D program, Altametris continuously invests in its platform for visualizing industrial asset data, the Altametris Suite plateform.
This web application platform is a comprehensive solution for storing, centralizing, visualizing, and collaborating around data in the cloud, in various forms: geographic, orthophotography, or even point clouds derived from LiDAR.
With this platform, Altametris aims to meet the needs of industrial data structuring, processing and enhancement that are not covered by software on the market. Indeed, the latter do not integrate business specifications or expertise in their storage, processing and distribution modes, making them solutions that cannot be exploited operationally by end-users.
Our R&D work work has involved integrating new applications for processing 3D data on a massive scale, aiming to create large-scale 3D models, plans, panoramas, BIM models, and digital twins.
We are also diversifying the range of data compatible with the platform and continuously improving our business processes to analyze data and generate the necessary knowledge about infrastructures, supporting users in their decision-making process. These business processes focus particularly on analyzing hazardous vegetation, compliance analysis of track ballast, catenary geometry study, and clearance study.
The combined power of the Altametris Suite platform and Artificial Intelligence algorithms grants it the capability to process over 1000 kilometers of data per hour, making the Suite platform a relevant ecosystem at the core of infrastructure managers' digital asset management.
